Transcript: It is important to understand detail. Measure everything in your business and seek to improve it. No matter how well you think it’s going, seek to improve it each day. You do that, at the end of the year you won’t recognise your business.
I’m sure you know the saying, “Take care of the pennies and the pounds will take care of themselves”. It’s never more true than in business. If you are constantly measuring and improving the small things in your business, your day-to-day operations will be smoother and your business will flourish.
A good place to start is by identifying some KPIs (Key Performance Indicators). These metrics can give you a good idea of performance in any area of your business. If you don’t know how to do this, don’t worry – we have a series of guides to KPIs that you will find useful.
